BIO

 

As a child, Heather Wiley called Wimberley home.  Her first performance was singing in The Best of Broadway at the age of 5 years old with The Wimberley Players.   Throughout high school and while attending the University of Texas in Austin, Heather continued to perform.  She studied under many coaches including Gary Powell /Ensemble 109 and continued to perform after college with her band around Texas.  After spending a bit of time under Warner Brothers Reprise Records in Nashville, she returned to Texas and co-founded Runningbird Records and released her CD, Emerging in the Light. 

 

In the past, Heather has been honored to share the stage with many great Texas musicians such as the late great Johnny Gimble, Asleep at the Wheel and Ray Price.   Heather is a performer, singer, songwriter and has recently had song placement in a few movie soundtracks including, Red Wing starring Bill Paxton and Luke Perry.

 

After 8 years in Los Angeles, Heather has come full circle and now calls Wimberley her home again.  Recently, she performed at Old Glory’s Rockin’ the Recovery and can be seen performing in Austin and locally at Hays City Store, Taste Bud’s Market and Chapel in the Hills. 

 

Heather provides her audiences with and unforgettable experience with a vocal style that magically blends country and blues.
